EWR2 Pte Ltd, located in Tuas Singapore is now certified to R2 Responsible recycling standards. These standards are published by SERI USA. The company decided to kick start the R2 journey by selecting GQS as their partner.
GQS having the SCMC Singapore Certified management consultant certification tag from TUV PSB Singapore was easy to be identified by EWR2 for implementing the R2V3. The consultancy project started by identifying the various Appendices applicable for Materials recovery, Data destruction / purging, Down stream vendor management and Focus material management.
Right from Gap analysis until achieving the R2V3 certificate from a SERI approved certification agency, we supported them completely.
The impeccable support from EWR2 Team members also helped to accelerate the implementation of the tough requirements of R2. R2 Down stream management was challenging keeping in mind the EOL End of life of various electronic equipments. In close interaction with the approved downstream vendor DSV management, GQS was able to develop the Focus material management plan and the Non Focus material management plan. The relevant uploads to the SERI portal was also carried out to ensure that SERI is updated about the FM Plan.
