What is R2 Responsible recycling standards ?
These are standards written to implement sustainability in recycling and IT Refurbishing companies. The standard focuses on implementation of requirements published by the SERI Sustainable Electronics Recycling International. Being SERI Approved, it took few months for us to implement the stringent R2 V3 requirements in YCH Distripark Pte Ltd Singapore.
The team was involved right from the time the Gap analysis was conducted until implementation and through the process of internal audits. All Downstream vendors DSVs required to comply the standards were ensured. It took few weeks for the dynamic team from YCH to understand the requirements and implement them thoroughly.
